YouTube Officially Launching YouTube Music Separately From YouTube Videos

Starting on May 22nd, YouTube will officially launch its music streaming service that will be available for free and Premium version.

YouTube Music is a new music streaming service made for music: official songs, albums, thousands of playlists and artist radio.

The free version of YouTube Music supports ads and will offer official songs, albums, playlists, artist-based radio and YouTube’s library of videos.

While YouTube Music Premium is the ad-free version of the music streamer that allows you to listen to tunes in the background, and download tune. It will cost $9.99 a month and will be available via an app or through your desktop browser.
And if you are a YouTube Red (soon to be YouTube Premium) or Google Play Music subscriber, you get YouTube Music Premium at no extra charge. However, if you are not a member and plan to go for the bundle in the future, the whole premium streaming service will set you back $11.99.

The Music app will offer you location based songs depending on your location, and you can also search for a specific songs in vague terms.

It will be rolling out to U.S., Australia, New Zealand, Mexico and South Korea* on Tuesday, and other countries in the coming weeks.

For the first time, all the ways music moves you can be found in one place.
